Isie Potter
Isie is a musician and the Founder of Seed Sessions. Whilst studying at Trinity College of Music Isie was encompassed by many friends suffering with mental ill health, particularly the males. Since graduating she has lost 3 friends to suicide.
Isie set up Seed Sessions in response to this, because she believes that men’s mental health effects everyone, not just men, and therefore it is a community problem.
Her hope is that Seed Sessions can be the seed that enables more understanding and compassion, even if it’s just within her community of musicians, which she hopes will ripple out.
Alongside her work with Seed Sessions, Isie is Senior Musician-in-Residence focusing on the Female Criminal Justice System and has been working at HMP Eastwood Park with the charity Changing Tunes.
