Jane Lings

Jane Lings is semi-retired music therapist. After several years working with children and adults with different intellectual and mental health needs, she spent most of her career working both in an adult hospice and as senior lecturer on UWE MA music therapy course, continuing as an Associate Lecturer. Most recently she has spent two years working mainly with mothers in a women’s prison leaving this post changed and challenged by the experience. She continues working as a clinical supervisor, supervising music therapists, musicians and other professionals.  She plays the flute and piano.

She has previous trustee experience having been a trustee of Changing Tunes for 30+ years, and also of Hospice 23 a charity (now closed) supporting those involved in end of life care.
